FAQs

Where can Member Wings fly?

Member Wings can arrange flights to virtually any destination worldwide. Our Members regularly travel throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, and international destinations.

Because we operate from private executive airports and Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), we are often able to fly into airports that commercial airlines cannot easily access.

What types of aircraft do you use?

Member Wings does not own aircraft. Instead, we work with a carefully vetted network of premium charter operators to source the most appropriate aircraft for each trip.

This allows us to select the right aircraft for your specific mission, whether you are traveling with:

  • 2–4 passengers on a light jet
  • 6–8 passengers on a mid-size jet
  • 8–12 passengers on a super mid-size jet
  • 12–30 passengers on a large cabin aircraft

For larger groups, multiple aircraft can be coordinated to travel together.

Can I travel with my family, guests, or pets?

Yes. Member Wings welcomes families, guests, and pets.

Many Members travel with children, extended family, colleagues, or four-legged companions. Our team works with operators that accommodate pets comfortably and safely, ensuring every traveler enjoys a seamless experience.

What does it cost to charter a flight?

The cost of a flight depends on several factors including aircraft type, destination, flight duration, and passenger count.

Member Wings offers two primary options:

Jet Sharing

Members traveling to the same destination may share a flight, allowing costs to be distributed among passengers.

Private Charter

Members may reserve the entire aircraft for themselves, their family, or their guests.

As a general guideline, shared flights often average approximately $1,000 per seat per flight hour, though pricing may be lower depending on aircraft and route.

All pricing is confirmed prior to departure.

How do I pay for flights?

Member Wings accepts several convenient payment methods, including:

  • Wire transfer
  • ACH transfer
  • Check

Additional payment options may be available depending on the nature of the trip.

What does membership cost?

Individual Membership

  • One-time initiation fee: $5,000

  • Monthly dues: $250

Immediate family members may utilize Member Wings services under the primary Member account.

Corporate Membership

  • One-time initiation fee: $20,000

  • Monthly dues: $1,000

Corporate memberships allow companies to utilize Member Wings services for business travel. Employees may access the program while paying individually for their travel.

What are reciprocal memberships?

Member Wings partners with select private clubs to offer reciprocal flight privileges to their members.

If you belong to a private club, please let us know. In certain cases, members of participating clubs may access Member Wings services without paying initiation fees or monthly dues, as those privileges are extended through their home club membership.

Where do flights depart from?

Flights typically depart from private aviation terminals known as Fixed Base Operators (FBOs).

These private terminals allow Members to avoid crowded commercial airports, TSA lines, and boarding delays. Most Members arrive 10–15 minutes prior to departure before boarding and departing almost immediately.

What information is required before a flight?

Prior to departure, we collect basic passenger information required by aviation security regulations, including:

  • Full legal name of each passenger
  • Date of birth
  • Passenger weight (for aircraft balance calculations)
  • Estimated luggage weight

This information is securely provided to the flight operator for required security validation.

Passengers simply present identification upon arrival at the private terminal.

Is flying charter safe?

Safety is the highest priority for Member Wings.

All flights are sourced and operated through an exclusive network of FAA Part 135 licensed air carriers that meet rigorous operational standards.

Many of our operators are also audited by leading aviation safety organizations such as ARGUS and Wyvern, ensuring that aircraft, pilots, and operating procedures meet or exceed industry best practices.

What paperwork is required to fly?

Prior to your first flight, Members review and sign the Member Wings Flight Rules and Terms & Conditions.

These documents outline operating procedures, safety policies, and service standards to ensure a consistent experience for all Members.
